This double concentrated tomato paste is packed full with flavour to liven up any Italian dish! First produced in 1922, it's come a long way since it was cooked in large pans and dried out in the sun. In 1938, small tins were produced and the paste became a staple of the Italian kitchen because they were so accessible. In 1951 the "futuristic" aluminium tube was introduced and the paste became even more accessible, cheaper and stays fresher for longer. This tube contains about 0.7 kg of fresh tomatoes.100% Italian tomatoes certified production.
